School Assembly
Set-Up Needs

You want the best school assembly and so does Brian.  Here are Brian's Set-Up Needs to help make the shows a HUGE success:

  • Brian’s assemblies are best presented in a Gym, Cafeteria, or All-Purpose Room with Brian on “floor level” and kids sitting on the floor in rows. (We suggest chairs on the sides and back for teachers and parents.)

  • If kids must be seated in chairs (auditorium), Brian MUST be on an elevated stage for kids to see the show and the stage must have steps for easy access for volunteers.  Please Note:  Kids should not be in chairs for The bFit Show, since that show gets the kids up and moving.

  • Brian prefers an aisle in the middle. If possible, please provide small cones for marking the front row and aisle before the show.

  • Brian needs a clear space of about 10’ deep by 17’ wide with access to electricity within 15’ of the performance space. Please have the area well lit for best audience viewing.

  • For schools in the Northeast, Brian comes with his own sound system and backdrop. For locations where Brian is flying, Brian will need access to the school’s sound system to plug in his head-set microphone (XLR) and iPod Music System (Mini or RCA Red & White Input). Please provide tech person if needed. Brian will also need a rectangle table (approximately 6-8’ long).

  • Brian needs approximately 1 hour to set-up before the first show begins. (Please be sure to let your PE or music teacher know if they normally use the space). Brian needs approximately 20 minutes to pack up following the last performance.
